Prayer Wheel Uses : Place of Worship
The Sisters of Saint Joseph of Peace Convent
This wheel was given by my client as a memorial gift to a convent in Bellevue, Washington, where it is installed in the lobby.
"I can't begin to tell you how much the prayer wheel is appreciated as a gorgeous piece of artwork... and as a vessel of peace, love and hope. The sisters and associates were so excited... Thank you so much!"
Much thanks, Annie

"The prayer wheel is now in the entrance lobby of the Peace and Spirituality Center, beautifully set on a small round table, and looks gorgeous! Thank you so much!"
Peace and love, Susan
Community of Love
This prayer wheel was commissioned by members of the First Congregational Church of Gainsville, Florida, in honor of the ordination of a beloved minister.
Minister's Memorial Prayer Wheel
Mr. Donnel Mc Connel, a long-time and much beloved minister at First Congregational Church in Bellingham, Washington, was diagnosed with an untreatable cancer. Members of the congregation commissioned this prayer wheel to celebrate his wonderful contributions to the church community and to honor his life of heartfelt, compassionate service.
The design on the prayer wheel's base shows people joined hand-in-hand dancing in a circle around the wheel. Above them, in the sky, dozens of butterflies rise. As the prayer wheel turns, images of the church's bell swing back and forth in the sky – as if being rung by the hands of the church congregation. The prayer wheel's lid is shaped like a candle flame. The overall shape of the wheel is intended to echo a candle. The Minister's Memorial Prayer Wheel now occupies a central position on the altar in the chapel of the church.
Fingers of the Same Hand Prayer Wheel
Though we follow different faiths, we are fingers of the same hand. Sometimes seemingly small differences between or within religions result in bloody conflict and generations of hate. This prayer wheel seeks to remind us of the common root of all our faiths, and thus the common bonds we all share. I say, let's reach out and join our hands together...
Prayer Wheel for Retiring Minister
The Steven Ministers of the First Congregational Church of Bellingham commissioned a prayer wheel as a gift to a much loved and dynamic retiring minister, Cindy Balaki. The design shows a pair of praying hands from which spring a rainbow. Above the rainbow soars an angel with spread wings. Emblazoned on the upper part of the wheel is the Pilgrim's Labyrinth.
